Paying

Fotoakadeemia Plc has the right to cancel an order in case the payment has not been done to the Fotoakadeemia Plc bank account within 7 days after the bill has been issued. We begin fulfilling the order after the payment has been done.
If you wish to use the option of 50% advance payment, please send us your request on our email store@fotoakadeemia.ee or call 6 411 502. In case of an advance payment, we can issue a separate invoice if needed.
Methods of payment Internet card payment (Visa, MasterCard) After an order has been placed, the client is automatically directed to the payment page of E-Commerce Payment Gateway interface, where he shall insert his card data. E-Commerce Payment Gateway interface authorises the transaction at the bank through Nets Estonia AS. After entering the card number, security code and expiry date, the payment is authorised by the client's bank. When the system requests the card data, the SSL, MasterCard SecureCode, Verified by Visa will be used, ensuring that the exchanged information cannot be copied or altered by unauthorised persons.
Order Fulfilment
Transportation
We deliver the ordered goods by DPD, DHL or by Estonian Post carrier (hereinafter carrier) to the address you have noted down or to the closest SmartPOST parcel terminal chosen by you. You can also collect the ordered goods yourself.
Delivery home or to work by a carrier – 5,00 €.
The carrier delivers our product to the denoted address within 3 working days after the product has been paid for.
When placing an order, please keep in mind the delivery times, which are 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday. If you are at work during these hours, please write to the Receiver field your work address to assure a fast delivery without a glitch
Delivery to a SmartPOST parcel terminal – postage fee 3,00 €.
Together with SmartPOST we deliver the goods to the terminal of your choice. When the package is there, you receive a text message on your mobile phone that also contains a personal door code. You have to enter the code on screen of the terminal and a locker door opens. The package is held at the terminal for 7 days after the package has been delivered there.
Collect the goods yourself from our salon – for free
You can collect the product from our salon yourself; no extra transportation fee is added to the order. You can pick up the product from the Fotoakadeemia Plc salon-store after you have received a notification on your email.

When delivering the goods outside from Estonia, the transportation fee depends on the destination country and on the weight and size of the product.
Rest of the countries – transportation fee is specified with the vendor each time via email (store@fotoakadeemia.ee).
Delivery time
Generally, we send the product out within 3 working days after the product has been paid for.
The estimated time of delivery is 3 to 14 days.
If there is a note „On Request“ next to the product, the delivery time of that product is up to 60 days.
In case the destination of your ordered product is outside of Estonia, we specify the date of delivery with you separately each time you order. The specific terms and conditions of delivering outside from Estonia depend on the terms and customs of the international transportation company.
When after issuing a contract of purchase and sale, it becomes evident that the product your purchased is not in our store and it has to be ordered from the specific product vendor and it is obvious that the delivery of that good is not possible as designated in the conditions of delivery time or in cases when the timely delivery of a product is not possible due to circumstances that we are not responsible for, we notify you on the phone number or via email address you noted down in the order form within 2 working days after the contract of purchase and sale has been issued and let you know the new delivery date. In case you lose interest in buying the product due to the longer delivery time, you have the right to withdraw from the contract of purchase and sale.
In case the delivery is delayed or there are any other misunderstandings due to wrong or inaccurate personal data in the order form you placed, we are not responsible for that kind of delay and you do not have the right to withdraw from the contract of purchase and sale.
Returning goods and cancelling an order
Natural person buyer has the right to return an unsuitable product within 1 to 14 days. The package or the product itself cannot be ruined in any way and the product has to be in an unopened original package. When the product is returned, the transportation fee is not refunded to the buyer. The manufacturer is responsible for the guarantee faults.

Registering

The prices of products
We have the right to change the prices of products at any time without pre-notice. In case we change the price after You have placed an order for a certain product, we are obligated to sell you the product with the price that was valid at the time of issuing a contract of purchase and sale. If the price is lowered after You have issued a contract of purchase and sale, You do not have the right to require a compensation for the price differences or require selling the product with a cheaper price after the contract of purchase and sale has been issued.

Paying
You can pay for the products and transport through a bank link, with a credit card, via PayPal or on the basis of an invoice to the bank account of Fotoakadeemia Plc. Fotoakadeemia Plc has the right to cancel an order in case the payment has not been done to the Fotoakadeemia Plc bank account within 7 days after the bill has been issued. We begin fulfilling the order after the payment has been done.
If you wish to use the option of 50% advance payment, please send us your request on our email store@fotoakadeemia.ee or call 6 411 502. In case of an advance payment, we can issue a separate invoice if needed.
Methods of payment Internet card payment (Visa, MasterCard) After an order has been placed, the client is automatically directed to the payment page of E-Commerce Payment Gateway interface, where he shall insert his card data. E-Commerce Payment Gateway interface authorises the transaction at the bank through Nets Estonia AS. After entering the card number, security code and expiry date, the payment is authorised by the client's bank. When the system requests the card data, the SSL, MasterCard SecureCode, Verified by Visa will be used, ensuring that the exchanged information cannot be copied or altered by unauthorised persons.
Order Fulfilment
Transportation
We deliver the ordered goods by DPD, DHL or by Estonian Post carrier (hereinafter carrier) to the address you have noted down or to the closest SmartPOST parcel terminal chosen by you. You can also collect the ordered goods yourself.
Delivery home or to work by a carrier – 5,00 €.
The carrier delivers our product to the denoted address within 3 working days after the product has been paid for.
When placing an order, please keep in mind the delivery times, which are 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday. If you are at work during these hours, please write to the Receiver field your work address to assure a fast delivery without a glitch
Delivery to a SmartPOST parcel terminal – postage fee 3,00 €.
Together with SmartPOST we deliver the goods to the terminal of your choice. When the package is there, you receive a text message on your mobile phone that also contains a personal door code. You have to enter the code on screen of the terminal and a locker door opens. The package is held at the terminal for 7 days after the package has been delivered there.
Collect the goods yourself from our salon – for free
You can collect the product from our salon yourself; no extra transportation fee is added to the order. You can pick up the product from the Fotoakadeemia Plc salon-store after you have received a notification on your email.
Our address is 84A, Tartu Road, Tallinn, Estonia.
When delivering the goods outside from Estonia, the transportation fee depends on the destination country and on the weight and size of the product.
Rest of the countries – transportation fee is specified with the vendor each time via email (store@fotoakadeemia.ee).
Delivery time
Generally, we send the product out within 3 working days after the product has been paid for.
The estimated time of delivery is 3 to 14 days.
If there is a note „On Request“ next to the product, the delivery time of that product is up to 60 days.
In case the destination of your ordered product is outside of Estonia, we specify the date of delivery with you separately each time you order. The specific terms and conditions of delivering outside from Estonia depend on the terms and customs of the international transportation company.
When after issuing a contract of purchase and sale, it becomes evident that the product your purchased is not in our store and it has to be ordered from the specific product vendor and it is obvious that the delivery of that good is not possible as designated in the conditions of delivery time or in cases when the timely delivery of a product is not possible due to circumstances that we are not responsible for, we notify you on the phone number or via email address you noted down in the order form within 2 working days after the contract of purchase and sale has been issued and let you know the new delivery date. In case you lose interest in buying the product due to the longer delivery time, you have the right to withdraw from the contract of purchase and sale.
In case the delivery is delayed or there are any other misunderstandings due to wrong or inaccurate personal data in the order form you placed, we are not responsible for that kind of delay and you do not have the right to withdraw from the contract of purchase and sale.
Returning goods and cancelling an order
Natural person buyer has the right to return an unsuitable product within 1 to 14 days. The package or the product itself cannot be ruined in any way and the product has to be in an unopened original package. When the product is returned, the transportation fee is not refunded to the buyer. The manufacturer is responsible for the guarantee faults.

Registering

You need to keep the Fotoakadeemia password confidential and cannot reveal it to third parties. You are responsible for all the activities done under your User name.
The prices of products
We have the right to change the prices of products at any time without pre-notice. In case we change the price after You have placed an order for a certain product, we are obligated to sell you the product with the price that was valid at the time of issuing a contract of purchase and sale. If the price is lowered after You have issued a contract of purchase and sale, You do not have the right to require a compensation for the price differences or require selling the product with a cheaper price after the contract of purchase and sale has been issued.
In case there is a technical error and the price of a product offered in Fotoakadeemia has changed/has been changed to an unreasonably lower price compared to the general market price of the same product and we have not noted that the product is discounted by us, we have the right to withdraw from the contract of purchase and sale provided that we have not sent the product to its destination to fulfil the contract of purchase and sale.

I AM Photographer is an organization that provides information about photography events for the photography enthusiast and professionals mainly in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania but also in another countries all around the world. We are dedicated to providing digital photography lessons, conferences and contests that are geared to everyone from the beginner to the professionals.
Our purpose is to bring together photography enthusiasts and professionals, who are willing to share their experiences and knowledge with other enthusiasts. Only the brave dare to share! Samuti pole auto pildistamiseks parimaks paigaks kohad kus on liigselt detaile, mis pildil asjatult tähelepanu nõuavad. Jälgi et taustale jäävad detailid ei muutuks osaks autost. Nii võib juhtuda kui pildistad autot maja taustal ja tulemuseks on auto kapotist „välja kasvav“ vihmaveetoru. Avatud ja tühi maastik on piisavalt hea. Autole sobib taustaks ka maanteekäänak. Hea autopildi saamiseks tuleks arvestada, et taust võiks sobida pildistatava objekti üldiseloomuga – limusiin luksusvilla taustale ja traktor karjamaale, mitte vastupidi!
Arvesta, et valgusolukord määrab suuresti saadud foto tulemuse. Kontrastses ja ülalt langevas päikesevalguses pole hea pildistada ühtegi objekti. Varjude ja valguse suur erinevus kaotab fotost pehmed heledusüleminekud ja värvid. Seda enam, kui tegemist on läikivate klaaside ja poleeritud värvipinnaga autoga. Parim tulemus on pilvealuse ilmaga, kui valgus peegeldub auto pinnale erinevatest suundadest ja valgusallikat ennast näha ei jää. Ka siis tuleb jälgida, et peegeldused tekiksid pildistamisel õigetesse kohtadesse. Varju jäävaid alasid on hea esile tuua helestit kasutades. Just auto pindade läikimine saab sageli fotograafile kõige suuremaks väljakutseks. Tuleb jälgida, et läikivatel pindadel (eriti jälgida kroomitud keredetaile ja aknaklaase) ei tekiks ebasoovitavaid peegeldusi ümbritsevast ja ei oleks näha ka fotograafi enda peegelpilti.
Millist kaamerat kasutada? Loomulikult saab auto jäädvustatud ka kompaktkaameraga. Siiski on peegelkaamera võimalused, nii keeruka objekti kui auto, pildistamisel palju suuremad. Kasuta erinevaid objektiive. Lainurgaga lähedalt pildistades on oht perspektiivimoonutustel, kus objektiivile lähemal asuvad auto osad kujutatakse tunduvalt suurematena kui kaugemale jäävaid detaile. See võib olla huvitav ja kunstipärane, kuid kindlasti mitte realistlik. 50mm normaalobjektiiviga saad ehk kõige tõepärasema kujutise. Teleobjektiivi kasutamisel tuleb arvestada, et pildistamiseks peab olema piisavalt ruumi. Pildistamiskaugus võib olla kümmekond meetrit ja rohkemgi. Samas annab teleobjektiiv oma pika fookuskaugusega mõnusalt ebaterava tausta. Diafragma kaudu ava reguleerides tuleb jälgida, et teravussügavus ei oleks liialt väike pildistatava objekti enda osas.
Fotograafi suur abimees välklamp ei ole ka alati auto pildistamisel parim lahendus, eriti siis kui kasutada välklampi kaamera pealt. Päris kindlasti peegeldub välguti valgus auto värvipinnalt või klaasidelt otse kaamera objektiivi tagasi ja rikub tulemuse. Kompaktkaamera puhul on targem välguti rakendumine hoopis keelata. Välklampe mida on võimalik kasutada ka kaamerast eemal distantsjuhtimise abil, on võimalik asetada sobiva nurga alla või kasutada välklambi valguse pehmendamiseks või juhtimiseks ekraanpindasid. Eraldi teema on valgusmaalingu tegemine, kus pimedas keskkonnas erinevaid valgusallikaid kasutades on võimalik luua väga huvitavaid ja atraktiivseid tulemusi.
Peegelduste kõrvaldamiseks on suur abi polarisatsioonifiltri kasutamisel. Kõige paremini märkab polarisatsioonifiltri mõju auto aknaklaasidel – õige nurgaga pildistades on võimalik auto aknaklaasidelt peegeldus täielikult kaotada. Peegeldused kaovad ka autokere värvitud pindadelt. Kuna auto kere pole tasapinnaline, siis peegeldust kõikjalt kaotada pole võimalik. Lahendusena tuleks kaamera asetada statiivile ja teha mitu erinevat võtet, igal võttel kõrvaldatakse filtri abil erinevatelt tasapindadelt peegeldused. Hiljem digitaalses pilditöötluses saadud kaadrid liidetakse ning selle tulemusena sünnib peegeldustevaba pilt.
Võttenurk ja suund on autode pildistamisel oluline teema. Enamasti pildistavad inimesed oma silmade kõrguselt. Samas on sobiva võttenurga leidmiseks tark laskuda ja pildistada autot esitulede kõrguselt või koguni maapinnalt. Suuremate sõidukite (veoautod, bussid jm.) pildistamisel on vastupidiselt mõistlik valida kõrgem vaatenurk. Auto pildistamine küljelt, on üsna igav võttesuund. Müügikuulutuses pisipildina on see vast ainsana mõeldav, sest annab piisava ülevaate, kuid pole eriti atraktiivne. Auto pildistamine umbes 45 kraadise nurga alt saame palju ruumilisema vaate. Kui auto iseloomustamiseks on võimalik teha pildiseeria, siis ei tasu lähtuda vaid erinevatest võttenurkadest ja –suundadest, vaid tasub meeles pidada, et väga üksikasjaliku ja huvitava loo annavad ka erinevad detailid auto juures (esi- või tagatuled, iluvõred, veljed jne). Detailide oskuslik pildistamine võib anda palju vajalikku infot konkreetse auto kohta või siis saada haaravaid ja visuaalset naudingut pakkuvaid pilte.
Liikuva auto pildistamine on põnev väljakutse. Peegelkaamera kasutajal on siingi olulised eelised. Kuna kaamera võimaldab suures ulatuses erinevate säriaegade kasutamist, siis sobiva pikkusega säriaega kasutades on võimalik saada pildile sobiv liikumismeeleolu tausta udususe näol. Pildistada on võimalik nii sõiduraja kõrval ja liikuva auto suunas objektiiviga kaasa vedades. Teine võimalus on pildistada teisest, suhteliselt sama kiirusega liikuvast autost. Viimase eeliseks on, et võimalik on lühikese aja jooksul teha mitmeid võtteid erinevat säriaega kasutades. Tähtis on liikluses pildistades pöörata tähelepanu liikluseeskirjade ja ohutusnõuete täitmisele.
Kompositsioonist sõltub lõplik tulemus. Kui tehniliselt on suudetud teha täiuslik võte, siis ei pruugi see olla veel täiuslik pilt. Pildistades püüa kaadrisse komponeerida auto nii, et ta täidaks enamuse kaadrist ning kaadris ei oleks teisi objekte, mis oma suuruse, värvuse, teravuse, paiknemise asukoha või muu pärast ei muutuks oluliseks, ega konkureeriks peamise objektiga põhjendamatult. Ära pildista ka objekti liialt kaadrisse kinni. Arvesta, et alati on võimalik järeltöötluses kaadrist tühja pinda välja lõigata. Juurde pole seda hiljem võimalik kahjuks tekitada. Arvesta kolmandikureegliga. Auto liikumissuunas tasuks jätta mõnevõrra enam ruumi. Seda ka seisva auto puhul. Kui pildistad detaile, siis ole tähelepanelik ja jälgi kuidas kaader lõikab objekti.
Järeltöötlusel on tänapäeva fotograafia suur roll. Tähtis on siiski meeles pidada, et korralik tulemus on eelkõige hästi ettevalmistatud võtteolukord ning täpne kaameratöö. Arvuti pole küll see koht kus esitulelt kärbselaipu välja kloonida. Müügifotol pole ehk ka eetiline digitaalset roostetõrjet teostada. Kuid lihtsalt hea foto nimel on kõik lubatud!

A car may become a man’s cult object or even lover. It is not considered as piece of junk, which helps us to get quickly from one place to another. It is something that puts a man’s heart beat when he slips his hand over a nice rubber bumper or smells the hot motor. There are even more reasons to photographing cars. Some just adore pictures of beautiful cars, others take photos of their cars to show off with their beauty on Facebook, some just look for an opportunity to get rid of their car and by adding an illustrating photo to a sales add, they hope to „create hunger“ in the new owner.
Here, I am giving ten pointers on how to get better results when taking photos of cars.
Wash your car! It seems logical but still you can find photos of cars in the sales ads where dirt, dust and dead bugs all over the car front do not give a good impression of the car or the owner of it.
Choose a place where you are going to do the photo shoot. It would be better if you find a place where there are no disturbing details. In the parking lot, in the middle of tens of other cars, it is definitely not the right place. Places where there are too many additional details are also not good for the shoot – they catch too much attention. Make sure that the details on the background do not become part of the car. This can happen when you have a house on the background and as a result you have a rain pipe growing out of your car’s hood. Open and plain scenery is good enough. A road crook is also a suitable background for the car. To get a nice picture of a car you need to consider that the background should agree with the general nature of the object – a limo should have a luxury house on the background and a tractor should be photographed on the field, not the other way around.
Remember that the light situation defines the result of the photo. It is not good to take photos of any objects in a contrast falling sunlight. The big difference between the shadows and light loses the soft shimmer transition and colours. The more so if you are dealing with shiny windows and a polished car colour. You get the best results by shooting under a cloudy sky when the light reflects to the surface of the car from different angles and the source of lighting is not seen itself. But you still need to observe that that the reflections are in the right places. With places that are left in the shadow, it is good to use a light reflector. Making the car surfaces shiny is often the most difficult assignment for the photographer. It is important to observe that there are no unwanted reflections of surroundings or the mirror image of the photographer on the shiny surfaces of the car (it is especially important to observe chromium-plated body details and windows).
Which camera to use? Of course you can take photos of cars using a compact camera. But there are just a lot more options when using a reflex camera, especially when dealing with such a difficult shooting object as a car. Use different lens. Using a wide angle lens to photograph near objects means a danger of perspective distortion, i. e. the car parts closer to the lens seem a lot bigger than the details farther away. It might look interesting and artistic but certainly not realistic. 50 mm normal lens should give you the most realistic image. Using a telephoto lens you need to remember that there should be enough space for the shooting. The shooting distance can be around ten meters and more. But at the same time the telephoto lens with a long-distance focus gives a nicely non sharp background. Regulating the camera’s opening through the diaphragm, one should observe that the depth-of-field is not too small on the part of the object that is being photographed.
Photographer’s little helper, flash, is not always the best solution when taking photos of a car, especially when using the flash on the camera. For sure, the light of the flash reflects right back from the coloured surface or windows of the car into the lens of the camera and ruins the result. When using a compact camera, it is better to say no to the use of flash. Flashes that can be used farther away from the camera by using a remote control can be used in the right angle or screen surfaces can be used to soften or lead the light of the flash. A different story is doing a light painting where in a dark environment, it is possible to create very interesting and attractive results by using different sources of light.
When getting rid of the reflections, a polarization filter provides great help. The help of the polarization filter is best seen on the car windows – shooting from the right angle, it is possible to lose the entire reflections from the windows. The reflections also disappear from the coloured surfaces of the car. Since the car body is not flat, it is not possible to lose the reflections from everywhere. As a solution, the camera should be put on the tripod and several shots should be taken and on each shot, the reflections are cleared away from different surfaces. Later, in the digital photo processing, the shots are added together and as a result, a reflection-free image is born.
The angle and direction of the shoot are very important when photographing cars. Most of the time, people photograph from the height of their eyes. But to get the suitable shooting angle, it is wise to photograph from lower and take photos from the height of car’s front lights or even from the ground. When photographing bigger vehicles (trucks, busses etc.) it is on the opposite, better to choose the higher shooting angle. Taking photos from the side of a car is quite boring. In a sales add, as a small image, it is thinkable, since it gives a nice overview but it is not very attractive. Photographing a car from a 45 degree angle gives us a more spatial view. When it is possible to take a series of pictures to characterise the car, then one should not only consider different angles and directions but it is important to remember that different car details (front or back lights, grille bars, wheels etc.) pass on a very detailed and interesting story. Skilled detail photographing can give a lot of important information about the particular car or help to get very attractive and visually enjoyable photos. '
Photographing a moving car is a challenge. Here, a reflex camera user also has many advantages. Since the camera enables the use of different shutter speeds, using a suitably long shutter speed, it is possible to get a certain moving mood to the picture by having the background a little blurry. It is possible to shoot on the side of the driving lane by moving along with the driving car and dragging the lens. The other option is to photograph from the other car that is moving practically on the same speed. The advantage of the latter is that in the short period of time it is possible to take different shots by using different shutter speeds. In the traffic, it is important to pay attention to the traffic code and safety instructions.
The final result depends of the composition. A technically perfect shoot does not mean a perfect picture. When taking a photo of a car, try to compose it so that it would fill most of the frame and there would be no other objects in the frame that would become relevant and compete with the main object because of their size, colour, sharpness, position or something else. Do not photograph the object too much into the frame. Remember that in the photo post-processing it is always possible to cut the empty places out. But it is not possible to add something later. Consider the rule of thirds. On the car’s moving direction there should be a little space. That also goes for the car that is not moving. When you photograph details, pay attention to how the frame cuts the object
Post-processing has a huge role in photography these days. Still, it is important to remember that the proper result means first and foremost, a well prepared shooting situation and a precise camera work. A computer is not the place to get rid of the dead bugs on the front lights. On a sales photo, maybe it is not best to do the rust removal digitally. To just make a nice photo of a car, everything is allowed!
Automobilis ne vienam vyrui gali tapti kulto objektu ar net mylimuoju. Jis nėra laikomas metalo gabalu, kuriuo galima greitai ir patogiai keliauti iš vieno punkto į kitą. Tai kai kas, priverčiantis greičiau plakti vyro širdį, kai ranka perbraukiama per nuostabų guminį buferį ar įkvepiama karšto variklio kvapo. Galima rasti ir daugiau priežasčių fotografuoti automobilį. Vieni tiesiog dievina gražių mašinų nuotraukas, kiti fotografuoja tam, kad pasipuikuotų savo gražuole „Facebook“ tinkle, treti ieško būdų atsikratyti automobilio ir pardavimo skelbimą iliustruojančia nuotrauka patraukti potencialius pirkėjus.
Pateiksiu dešimt taisyklių, kaip reikėtų fotografuoti automobilį, kad rezultatai būtų kuo geresni.
Išplaukite automobilį! Tai atrodo savaime suvokiama, bet net ir pardavimo skelbimuose pilna automobilių, kurių dulkės, purvas ar priekį „puošiantys“ sutraiškyti vabalai nesako nieko gero nei apie automobilį, nei apie jo savininką.
Parinkite fotografavimo vietą. Būtų gerai, jei joje nebūtų labai daug trikdančių detalių. Neverta automobilio fotografuoti stovėjimo aikštelėje tarp daugelio kitų automobilių. Automobiliui fotografuoti netinka vietos, kuriose daug detalių, be reikalo atitraukiančių dėmesį. Stebėkite, kad fone esančios detalės netaptų automobilio dalimi. Taip gali atsitikti, jei fotografuosite namo fone – tuomet rezultatas bus iš automobilio variklio antvožo išaugantis lietvamzdis. Gana geras fonas – atviras ir tuščias kraštovaizdis. Fonas gali būti ir vingiuotas plentas. Norint nufotografuoti gerą nuotrauką, reikėtų nepamiršti, kad fonas turėtų derėti su fotografuojamo objekto bendru pobūdžiu – limuzinas prabangios vilos fone ir traktorius laukuose, o ne atvirkščiai!
Reikėtų nepamiršti, kad galutiniam rezultatui labai daug įtakos turi šviesa. Kontrastingoje ir iš viršaus krentančioje saulės šviesoje netinka fotografuoti nė vieno objekto. Didelis šešėlių ir šviesos skirtumas nuotraukoje pradangina minkštus perėjimus ir spalvas, tuo labiau – fotografuojant objektą su blizgiais stiklais ir poliruotais spalvotais paviršiais. Geriausias rezultatas bus pasiektas, jei dangų dengs debesys, šviesa ant automobilio paviršiaus atsispindės iš skirtingų krypčių, o pats šviesos šaltinis nebus matomas. Ir tokiu atveju teks stebėti, kad atspindys fotografuojant būtų matomas tinkamose vietose. Šešėlyje liekančias zonas galima pabrėžti naudojant reflektorių. Būtent automobilių paviršių blizgėjimas neretai tampa didžiausiu iššūkiu fotografams. Reikia stebėti, kad ant blizgių paviršių (ypač reikėtų atkreipti dėmesį į chromuotas kėbulo detales ir langų stiklus) neatsirastų nepageidaujamų atspindžių iš aplinkos ir nebūtų matomas pats fotografas.
Kokią kamerą naudoti? Be abejo, automobilį galima įamžinti ir kompaktine kamera. Vis dėlto kai fotografuojamas toks sudėtingas objektas kaip automobilis, veidrodinės kameros galimybės geresnės. Naudokite skirtingus objektus. Fotografuojant iš arti plačiu kampu gali kilti perspektyvų iškraipymo pavojus – arčiau objektyvo esančios dalys gali būti vaizduojamos kur kas didesnės nei toliau esančios detalės. Tai gali būti įdomu ir meniška, bet bus toli nuo realybės. 50 mm normaliu objektyvu gausite gal net realiausią vaizdą. Naudojant teleobjektyvą reikėtų atsižvelgti į tai, kad fotografavimo procesui reikia gana daug vietos. Fotografavimo atstumas turi būti dešimt metrų ir daugiau. teleobjektyvas, pasižymintis ilgu fokusavimo atstumu, sudaro įdomų neryškų foną. Reguliuojant per diafragmą reikėtų nepamiršti, kad ryškumas neturi būti per mažas paties fotografuojamo objekto dalyje.
Didysis fotografo pagalbininkas – blykstė, bet fotografuojant automobilį tai gali būti ne pats geriausias sprendimas, ypač jei naudojama kameros blykstė. Blykstės šviesa atsispindi nuo dažytų automobilio paviršių ar stiklų tiesiai į kameros objektyvą ir sugadina rezultatą. Jei kamera kompaktinė, blykstės funkciją būtų geriau išjungti. Blykstes, kurias galima naudoti toliau nuo fotoaparato nuotolinio valdymo būdu, galima nustatyti tinkamu kampu ar naudoti blykstės šviesos suminkštinimo arba ekrano paviršiaus valdymo funkcijas. Atskira tema – šviesos sukūrimas, kai tamsioje aplinkoje naudojant skirtingus šviesos šaltinius galima sukurti įdomių ir patrauklių rezultatų.
Atspindžiui pašalinti galima naudoti poliarizacijos filtrą. Geriausiai poliarizacijos filtras matomas ant automobilio langų – fotografuojant tinkamu kampu galima visiškai pašalinti automobilio langų atspindį. Atspindys dingsta ir nuo dažytų automobilio kėbulo paviršių. Kadangi automobilio kėbulas nėra dvimatis, atspindžių iš visų vietų pašalinti nepavyks. Sprendimas galėtų būti toks: pastatykite kamerą ant trikojo, fotografuokite kelis kadrus ir sulig kiekvienu kadru filtru pašalinkite atspindžius nuo skirtingų paviršių. Vėliau skaitmeniniu būdu apdorojant nuotrauką gauti kadrai sujungiami, o rezultatas – nuotrauka be atspindžių.
Labai svarbi automobilių fotografavimo tema – fotografavimo kampas ir kryptis. Dažniausiai žmonės fotografuoja savo akių aukštyje. Bet neretai tinkamą fotografavimo kampą galima rasti nusileidus žemiau ir, pavyzdžiui, automobilį fotografuojant žibintų aukštyje ar net dar žemiau. Didesnėms transporto priemonėms (sunkvežimiams, autobusams ir pan.) fotografuoti būtų protinga pasirinkti aukštesnę vietą. Automobilio fotografavimas iš šono – gana nuobodi fotografavimo kryptis. Tai galima naudoti, jei į pardavimo skelbimą bus dedama nedidelė nuotrauka, nes suteikia pakankamą apžvalgą, bet tai tikrai nėra labai patrauklu. Automobilio fotografavimas maždaug 45 laipsnių kampu duoda kur kas erdvesnį vaizdą. Jeigu automobilio apibūdinimo tikslais galima atlikti fotografijų seriją, nereikėtų vadovautis vien skirtingais fotografavimo kampais ir kryptimis, derėtų nepamiršti, kad labai įdomią ir detalią informaciją suteikia ir įvairiausios automobilio detalės (priekiniai ir galiniai žibintai, grotelės, ratlankiai ir pan.). Mokėjimas fotografuoti detales gali suteikti labai daug informacijos apie konkretų automobilį arba padėti sukurti patrauklių ir maloniai atrodančių nuotraukų.
Labai įdomus iššūkis – judančio automobilio fotografavimas. Daug pranašumų teikia veidrodinė kamera. Kadangi naudojant kamerą galima taikyti labai skirtingą išlaikymo laiką, pasirinkus tinkamą išlaikymo laiką nuotraukoje dėl fone matomo rūko galima sukurti tam tikrą judėjimo nuotaiką. Fotografuoti galima šalia automobilių judėjimo trasos ir judinant objektyvą važiuojančio automobilio kryptimi. Antra galimybė – fotografuoti iš panašiai tokiu pat greičiu judančio kito automobilio. Paskutinės galimybės pranašumas yra tai, kad per trumpą laiką naudojant skirtingą išlaikymą galima padaryti daug kadrų. Fotografuojant reikėtų nepamiršti eismo taisyklių ir elgtis saugiai.
Galutinis rezultatas priklauso nuo kompozicijos. Jeigu techniškai ir pavyksta išgauti nuostabų vaizdą, tai dar nereiškia, kad nuotrauka bus nepriekaištinga. Fotografuodami pasistenkite kadre automobilį sukomponuoti taip, kad jis užpildytų didžiąją dalį kadro ir nebūtų kitų objektų, kurie savo dydžiu, spalva, ryškumu, vieta ar dėl kitų priežasčių taptų svarbūs ir be reikalo konkuruotų su pagrindiniu objektu. Atsižvelkite į tai, kad iš nuotraukos apdorodami galite iškirpti per didelį tuščią plotą. Bet pridėti, deja, nebus galimybių. Nepamirškite trečdalio taisyklės. Automobilio judėjimo kryptimi reikėtų palikti šiek tiek daugiau vietos. Taip pat stovinčio automobilio atžvilgiu. Jeigu fotografuojate detales, būkite dėmesingi ir stebėkite, kaip kadras pjauna objektą.
Šiuolaikinėje fotografijoje labai svarbu vėlesnis apdorojimas. Vis dėlto derėtų nepamiršti, kad geras rezultatas priklauso nuo gerai parinktos ir paruoštos fotografavimo aplinkos ir tikslaus darbo su kamera. Kompiuteris tikrai nėra tinkama vieta valyti nuo automobilio muselių liekanas. Pardavimo skelbimo nuotraukoje neetiška skaitmeniniu būdu pašalinti rūdis. Bet jei reikia tiesiog geros nuotraukos, leistina viskas!

Automobilis ne vienam vīrietim var kļūt par kulta objektu vai pat par mīļoto. Tas nav nekāds metāla gabals, ar kuru var ātri un ērti ceļot no viena punkta uz otru. Tas ir kaut kas, kas liek ātrāk pukstēt vīrieša sirdi, kad ar roku pārvelk pār apbrīnojamu gumijas buferi vai ieelpo karstu dzinēja gaisu. Var atrast arī vairāk iemeslu fotografēt automobili. Vieni vienkārši dievina skaistu mašīnu foto, citi fotografē, lai varētu lepoties ar savu skaistuli „Facebook“ tīklā, trešie meklē veidus, kā tikt vaļā no automobiļa un ar pārdošanas sludinājumu ilustrējošu fotogrāfiju pievilkt potenciālus pircējus.
Minēšu desmit noteikumus, kā vajadzētu fotografēt automobili, lai rezultāti būtu pēc iespējas labāki.
Nomazgājiet automobili! Tas liekas pats par sevi saprotams, taču arī pārdošanas sludinājumos pilns ar automobiļiem, uz kuriem esošie putekļi, dubļi vai arī priekša, „izgreznota“ ar saspiestām vabolēm neko labu nesaka ne par automobili, ne par tā īpašnieku.
Izvēlieties vietu fotografēšanai. Būtu labi, ja tajā nebūtu ļoti daudz traucējošo detaļu. Nav vērts automobili fotografēt autostāvvietā starp daudzām citām automašīnām. Automobiļa fotografēšanai nav piemērotas tās vietas, kurās daudz detaļu bez vajadzības novērš uzmanību. Vērojiet, lai uz fona esošas detaļas nekļūtu par automobiļa detaļu. Kā fonu var izvēlēties arī līkumotu šoseju. Ja vēlaties, lai fotogrāfija sanāktu laba, vajadzētu neaizmirst, ka fonam kopveidā ir jāpielāgojas fotografējamam objektam – limuzīns uz krāšņās villas fona un traktors laukos, nevis otrādi!
Nevajadzētu aizmirst, ka gala rezultātu ļoti ietekmē gaisma. Kontrasta un no augšas krītošā saules gaismā nevajadzētu fotografēt nevienu objektu. Lielas ēnu un gaismas starpības dēļ bildē pazūd mīksta pāreja un krāsas, vēl jo vairāk – fotografējot objektu ar spīdīgiem stikliem un pulētām krāsainām virsmām. Labākais rezultāts būs sasniegts tad, ja debesis klās mākoņi, gaisma uz automašīnas virsmas atspoguļosies no dažādām malām, bet pats gaismas avots nebūs redzams. Un tādā gadījumā nāksies vērot, lai atspulgs fotografējot būtu redzams piemerotās vietās. Ēnā atrodošās zonas var akcentēt ar reflektora palīdzību. Taisni automašīnu virsmu spīdums nereti kļūst par vislielāko izaicinājumu fotogrāfiem. Jāvēro, lai uz spīdīgām virsmām (it īpaši vajadzētu pievērst uzmanību uz hromētām virsbūves detaļām un logu stikliem) nerastos nevēlams atspoguļojums no apkārtnes un nebūtu redzams pats fotogrāfs.
Kādu kameru lietot? Bez šaubām, automobili var iemūžināt arī ar kompaktkameru. Tomēr kad tiek fotografēts tāds sarežģīts objekts kā automobilis, spoguļkamerai ir labākas iespējas. Izmantojiet dažādus objektus. Fotografējot tuvumā un izmantojot platu leņķi var rasties sagrozīšanas risks – tuvāk objektīvam esošas detaļas var parādīties daudz lielākas nekā tālāk esošas detaļas. Tas var izskatīties interesanti un mākslinieciski, taču būs tālu no realitātes. 50 mm ar normālu objektīvu jums sanāks varbūt pat visrealākais skats. Lietojot teleobjektīvu vajadzētu ņemt vērā to, ka fotografēšanas procesam ir nepieciešams diezgan daudz vietas. Fotografēšanas attālumam vajadzētu būt desmit metri vai vairāk. Teleobjektīvs, ar kuru var fokusēt lielā attālumā, izveido interesantu neskaidru fonu. Regulējot caur diafragmu, vajadzētu neaizmirst, ka skaidrumam nav jābūt pa mazu paša fotografējamā objekta daļā.
Lielais fotogrāfa palīgs – zibspuldze, taču fotografējot automobili tas nebūtu labākais risinājums, it īpaši, ja tiek izmantota kameras zibspuldze. Zibspuldzes gaisma atspīd krāsotu automašīnu virsmu vai arī stiklus tieši kameras objektīvā un sabojā rezultātu. Ja ir kompaktā kamera, zibspuldzes funkciju vislabāk būtu izslēgt. Atspulgu var novērst ar polarizācijas filtru. Vislabāk polarizācijas filtrs ir redzams uz automobiļa logiem – fotografēt izvēloties pareizu leņķi var pilnīgi novērst automobiļa logu atspulgu. Atspulgs pazūd arī no krāsotām automašīnu virsbūves virsmām. Tā kā automašīnu virsbūvei nav divdimesiju, no atspulga visās vietās izvairīties nesanāks. Risinājums varētu būt tāds: uzstādiet kameru uz trijkāja, fotografējiet dažus kadrus un līdz ar katru kadru novērsiet ar filtra palīdzību atspulgu no dažādām virsmām. Vēlāk digitālā veidā var apstrādāt fotogrāfiju un iegūtus kadrus apvienot, bet rezultāts būs šāds – fotogrāfija bez atspulga.
Ļoti aktuāla auto fotografēšanas tēma – fotografēšanas leņķis un virziens. Lielākoties cilvēki fotografē savu acu līmenī. Taču nereti pareizo fotografēšanas leņķi var atrast nolaižoties zemāk un, piemēram, fotografējot automašīnu lukturu augstumā vai pat vēl zemāk.
